ADHD, OCD, general anxiety & social anxiety, depression, trichotillomania, seizures, recovering alcoholic.
Last year, I decided to go NC (no contact) with my entire family due to emotional/verbal abuse. I grew up with a Narcissistic Mother & have been struggling with codependency & healing from that, hence why I used to drown myself in alcohol! π
With all that being said, I'm proud of how far I've come (still have a long way to go) & all that I've overcome.
As far as religion, I was raised Southern Baptist but I now believe that "organized religion" divides people by imposing rules & unnecessary criticism/cliques. My religion is peace, love, compassion & kindness. I'm interested in a closer relationship with God. ππ
I believe that ALL of us have a right to believe what we want to believe & we all have the right to question what we've been taught. We don't have to always agree with each others beliefs to be respectful/supportive/encouraging. I'm CRAZY enough to believe in world peace. βππ
